About NewUrbanJazz:
NewUrbanJazz was launched on October 1, 2008.  On February 5, 2008, CD101.9 (NYC) flipped the format to Rock 'n' Roll, and shortly after, several stations flipped up and down the East Coast. "NUJ was tested in 2004 at WJSJ/Jacksonville, Fl. and the results were favorable", says the native New Yorker.  We began to add unknown US-based and international artists to the lineup quietly and was received with high marks. We have a couple other formulas that proved to be effective, so it only made sense to roll out our program."

Small Business of the Month

About Salads by Martha...

Established in 2014, Salads by Martha (SBM) began at home from inspiration of family and friends. Driven by a passion  for God, helping the community, and impacting the world; SBM began to bring fresh and healthy options to local areas.

On January 19, 2018, owner Melissa Brown (with over a year of planning and conversations with her husband, family, and friends) left her job as an auditor, took a leap of faith, and began the process of turning SBM into a household name. With God being their provider, orderer of steps, and biggest chearleader they know there is nothing impossible with Him involved.

On February 2, 2019, SBM will open the first (of many storefronts to come) in Ellenwood Village located in Ellenwood, GA. With their faith in God and trusting in His Word from Ephesians 3:20; Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us; SBM's prayer is that all will be blessed and highly favored from the literal and spiritual food received. Their motto is "Fresh and Colorful Salads Created with Love"...the "LOVE" is the best part to us!

The 11th Annual Miami Jazz in the Gardens was a big success.....

With featured acts performing Jazz, Funk, Soul, and R&B gave the thousands of fans one of the Hottest Concerts in the country. Major Acts Charlie Wilson, Usher, Brian Culbertson, Babyface, Janelle Monae, Kool & The Gang, Average White Band, Regina Belle, Michael McDonald, Najee, Alex Bugnon, and Fred Hammond was one of the Hottest line-up so far for this great concert.

The entire two day concert was electrifying in every way a music lover could imagine. Concert goer Gwen Wells from Chicago, IL said " Uncle Charlie turn the Saturday Night in to a old school Blue Light in the basement party."

The SunLife Stadium where this smorgasborg of talent and fans came together to party raised the bar for the event planners for the 2017 Miami JazzIn The Gardens. If you miss this year concert, please plan ahead for the 2017 event.

Featured Artist Kandace Springs

About Kandace Springs

If Kandace Springs‘ new album Indigo sounds like something new, that’s because it is. Simple while funky. Classic but contemporary. Straightforward in the way it breaks down complex ideas and genres. And, at the end of the day, undeniably human. That said, it isn’t quite a rebirth for the Nashville-born artist, who after stints living in New York and Los Angeles has returned back home to Music City. She’s long had that lithe and smoky voice and an intensely expressive mastery over the piano. For those paying attention, Kandace’s second album finds her unleashing what was there all along, all at once, for the first time.
